NOLA 70.3 Spectating RR Long Overdue

For the Nola 70.3, I was lucky enough to host rockstar triathlete and friend Libby. Although we had not formerly met and knew each other primarily through mutually friends, it felt as though we had been long lost friends forever. Like I've said before, triathlete blogger friends are truly the best!
It was a whirlwind of a weekend with so many friends in town. After hosting a pre-race dinner for my Pittsburgh crew and some Ballou skies team members, I thankfully sat out this round of the Nola 70.3. Spectating was the way to go!

Coffee and cow bell in hand.....I take my sherpa job seriously!

As most of you already know, Libby killed the race and snagged a Vegas slot! Also stellar performances noted by Jocelyn, Chad, Jeremy, and Beth. The Pennsylvania bunch is fast!

And in classic New Orleans fashion, I made sure the post race included plenty of debauchery: Monsoons, the best burger in the world, and topped off with hand grenades.

Congrats to everyone who raced! I

  1. So great seeing you and thanks again for having us over and for all your cheers!!! Now it's your turn to kick butt...happy taper!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

  2. Looks like you are a great sherpa!

Congrats to all the ladies who killed it!

  3. Coffee and cowbell. I can totally relate. Blogger friends are the best!
