Ups and Downs

This week like most weeks has had it's fair share of ups and downs. The up's included getting in

~all of my training...

~sticking to my healthy GF diet....

~getting a surprise care package from my dear friend Kim...
(the OFFICIAL Ballou Skies PB YAY!) Click the link to get your very own PB and to help progress research for Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy :)
Triathlete friends are the B-E-S-T!

~starting to feel stronger throughout my training

~Capping the oil spill..... (fingers crossed).......

~lastly having the willpower to turn down "patient goodies" at wo
rk. (When you think physical therapy you think-healthy-fit-nutritious.... As patients start to reap the benefits of PT, they try to reward you by bringing in donuts, cookies, brownies, etc. Don't get me wrong-it's a nice gesture but wow talk about self-disicpline. Thankfully I work with abunch of guys who will devour anything!)

The downs included the usual lack of sleep, lots of early mornings, lack of Scott time, and struggling to fit workouts and life all in on the same day. Talk about planning.....

Anyway hope everyone is ready for the weekend. I know I sure am. I'll leave you with this:
