triathletes and muscle imbalances

This is a good article: "Muscle Imbalances in Triathletes". Unfortunately I see this all the time in triathletes, cyclists, and runners. I will leave it up to you to read it. Without getting too technical, your deep core and low back muscles act in a feed forward manner and actually turn on before you even move. Therefore if your core is weak, just think about what this can do to the rest of your body! And think about this too... with all 3 sports you are stuck moving in the same plane: the sagittal plane. Hello!!! What about your abductors, adductors, and horizontal external rotators? Anyway I'll stop here before I go off my my PT-dork tangent.

Hope everyone is having a safe and fun weekend! I sure am as today was my first bike-run-swim all-in-one-day since March.
Bike (1hr )
Run ( 3o min)
Swim Endurance Day (2000)

And even better~I think I'm going to sign up for my first tri in August! I'll post more when it's official :) Oh and this was hilarious today:

This is my mini-dachshund Flex and his cousin Chewy.... They got a lil whip cream on their noses and couldn't lick it off.
Silly wiener dogs!!!!!!
