So excited for my first Mardi Gras in NOLA! This weekend was just the warm up:Scott and I hit up 2 parades over the weekend... the first one Caesar and the 2nd one Barkkus: A dog parade! My favorite by far... Check out these awesome pics:Flex decked out in Mardi Gras gear and taking in the French Quarter scenes
Combine 2 parades, 60 miles on the bike/brick, 13 mile run, and 3500 m swim and see how you feel Monday. Ouch. I think I'm still paying for it. My 1200 meter track repeats with the fast girls tonight at Tulane did NOT help my current state. I didn't know 1200s could be so painful. Hopefully I make it to the pool in the morning. Taking it day by day for now. Don't forget the give-a-way peeps :)
Ouch!! Those kind of weekends would do me in. Sucks being 90 in this 140 year old body. :)
ReplyDeleteWhy is it so fun to dress up dogs? I love it! You guys are lucky to be in NOLA this time of year. The 'local' activites are the best!
ReplyDelete1200's with the fast girls? Ouch! But I'm sure you kicked ass!
We need to try to get together soon! Keep Augusta in mind!
Mardi Gras should be a blast!
